He's Walking!!!

Finally after several attempts, Adam is mobile.....

Nothing to Report

Things are quiet in the land of Team Buckelew right now. Adam is trying really hard to walk - he took six steps on Sunday, up from the three he took two weeks ago. Grace is embracing her inner Musketeer as she has been watching Barbie and the Three Musketeers and trying her hand at imitating the movie. She is also learning all about responsibility - that's what comes with turning six.

Adam is 1!

Can you believe how fast the year went? I'm sorry I didn't post pictures after the party and got bogged down with Media week at work but I think it was worth the wait now that his one-year old pictures are done!

Happy New Year

Christmas came and went and here it is 2010! Hard to believe Adam will be one in two weeks. We've got a bunch of folks heading our way for his party. The house will be packed :)

We hope everyone had a great holiday and we can't wait to see what's in store for the new year!

Visiting Santa

Took the kids to see Santa the other night - Grace and Santa had a good chat before we added Adam to his lap. But there is no way that I could've captured the shot of Adam and Santa this way if I wanted to - it was pure luck!

Busy Weekend

We have been preparing for the holidays and celebrating birthdays this weekend.

Saturday started with our annual outing to find a Christmas tree. Grace and Adam picked out the perfect one and then they stole Santa's sleigh for a joyride :)

After that we went to Cannon's Boot Camp birthday party. Grace played army and seemed to enjoy it. How do you respond when your six-year-old little girl says "Mom where's my gun"??

Of course the weekend wasn't complete until we celebrated Grace's 6th birthday. Sunday was her day! We opened presents, watched her new movie, went out to dinner and had cake. Hard to believe she's 6!

Grace's Birthday Party

We celebrated Grace's 6th birthday last night with 22 of her friends at Build a Bear. It was a fun night complete with Little Caesar's Pizza and cake from Nona's Sweets. All the kids made a friend - most were bears - to take home and seemed to have a great time. Hopefully they all slept really well for their parents!
